When you look in the mirror, what is it that you see?
Is it all that you are, or what you strive to be?
Or just a false truth you happen to perceive?
Or all the things people say are inadequacies?
Cause now I look and I’m not even sure
If I see the same things I used to see before
And more and more, as I stop and stare
It’s harder to identify the person standing there
Fixated on my face, all I see is a glare
And to question myself, I don’t even dare
So now I’m standing there, spraying on the windex
But that does nothing and I don’t know what to think next
Naturally I think best,
Of myself
So naturally some think less,
But what else, Is new?
Cause everyone has an opinion
But few have a clue
Of all the things that I am able to do
So they just yell out random things they thought up
And now I’m getting heated so the mirror fogs up
So now to guess what I’m seeing is a toss up
Still knowing that what I see is not what
You perceive me to be, it is what I am
The constant evolution from a boy to a man
Just when things I begin to fear
My true friends appear and the mirror becomes clear.
So when you look in the mirror, what is it that you see?

I woke up this morning with an array of mixed feelings. HYPE… yet real calm. NERVOUS… yet confident.

Tonight’s my first legit show in Vancouver.

There’s still a few small things to tie up before tonight but I can already feel it’s going to be a big night.

The support from friends out here is CRAZY.

From SFU football teammates to good friends to co-workers, an ex-girl to potential next girls, there’s a lot of people coming out to see me.

I admit it’s a great feeling, one that I could definitely get used to.

There’s been so much on my mind lately that I’m glad I finally have a release.

If you’re in Vancouver come out, have a drink or two and party with me cause it’s going to be an EPIC night.

For my Toronto fam, there will be footage!
